{"id":92,"date":"2008-02-22T13:29:11","date_gmt":"2008-02-22T19:29:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/runningok.jankowskis.net\/?p=92"},"modified":"2008-02-22T13:29:11","modified_gmt":"2008-02-22T19:29:11","slug":"friday-swim","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/runningok.jankowskis.net\/?p=92","title":{"rendered":"Friday Swim"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hit the Y a little bit late this morning.\u00a0 G&amp;A have been waking up frequently during the night, lately, and the sleep for myself and Carrie has not been the best.\u00a0 Hopefully its that we&#8217;re transitioning them out of their swaddles and into &#8220;sleep sacks&#8221;, and that it will get better quickly.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway. Back to the Y.\u00a0 Was planning to bike and swim, but only had time to do one, so I swam.\u00a0 Pretty good swim.\u00a0 I went looking for some swimming tips yesterday and found one regarding breathing.\u00a0 I&#8217;m not very relaxed in the pool and breathing always seems so forced and difficult.\u00a0 Found suggestions to relax and trying breathing out under water and only in when the face is up.\u00a0 So I focused on that and it seemed to be a bit better.\u00a0 Still not comfortable per se, but I&#8217;ll keep working on that.<\/p>\n<p>Actual workout was 3 X 200M free and 1X100M breast.\u00a0 The breast was much more difficult than the free.\u00a0 Probably because I haven&#8217;t been practicing it.\u00a0 I think I&#8217;ll throw it back into the mix each workout to try and keep those muscle groups in the mix.\u00a0 Another suggestion I found was alternating kinds of strokes as they each use different muscle groups.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hit the Y a little bit late this morning.\u00a0 G&amp;A have been waking up frequently during the night, lately, and the sleep for myself and Carrie has not been the best.\u00a0 Hopefully its that we&#8217;re transitioning them out of their swaddles and into &#8220;sleep sacks&#8221;, and that it will get better quickly.
