{"id":10,"date":"2007-08-28T21:26:38","date_gmt":"2007-08-29T03:26:38","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/runningok.jankowskis.net\/?p=10"},"modified":"2007-08-28T21:26:38","modified_gmt":"2007-08-29T03:26:38","slug":"pesto-ice-cream-and-35-miles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/runningok.jankowskis.net\/?p=10","title":{"rendered":"Pesto Ice Cream and 3.5 miles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We had a quick trip to the hospital this am due to not feeling Baby A, &#8220;Squirt&#8221;, move this morning.\u00a0 Everything ended up fine, guess Squirt was just sleeping.\u00a0 We didn&#8217;t get released until 1 and were starving, so went to a local OK City restaurant, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grass-roots.org\/usa\/okbean.shtml\">the Grateful Bean <\/a>for lunch.\u00a0 The Bean is an old fashioned soda fountain that is known for its great drinks and homemade ice cream.\u00a0 The food is pretty great too.<\/p>\n<p>But today I had one of the best ice cream flavors I&#8217;ve ever tasted.\u00a0 I&#8217;m a huge fan of fresh made pesto and have grown my own basil for the last few summers trying to perfect my pesto.\u00a0 So I&#8217;m pretty picky about it.\u00a0 But when I saw Pesto ice cream on the board, I specifically ate less than half my lunch to save room.\u00a0 And I wasn&#8217;t disappointed.\u00a0 It was a rich and creamy, slightly vanilla flavored base with fresh pesto mixed in.
